Fire Safety Awareness Training (Level 1)
Fire Safety Awareness Training Level 1 is a legal requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and other Health and Safety Regulations.
This 4-hour Ofqual accredited course covers basic fire safety, including evacuations, the general principles, and practice of fire safety including the principles of fire prevention and the classification of fires and firefighting equipment and legal requirements.
Who is the Fire Safety Awareness Level 1 course for?
- Employees of all levels needing awareness and education of fire safety.
- New workers required to take the Fire Marshal Training Level 1 induction training at the start of a new job.
- Anyone who has the desire and responsibility to step up and take responsibility for fire safety management within the workplace.
Course Overview
This course will give you a basic background and understanding of general fire safety practices and the control measures required to reduce fire risks in the workplace.
Key Benefits
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that fire safety training is provided to staff when they commence employment, and that refresher training is provided on a regular basis.
On completing the Fire Safety Awareness Level 1 course staff will know how to reduce fire risks, deal with fires, and escape safely in the event of a fire.
